John Slayton

John Slayton is a graduate of the Master of Fine Arts program in creative writing at Florida International University.

His debut novel: Running to Graceland, won the 2019 Indepdendent Pulishers Gold Medal in Popular Fiction. He teaches creative writing at the Carrollwood Cultural Center, and his short stories, poems, and flash fiction have appeared in numerous magazines.

Mr. Slayton resides in Tampa, Florida, with his beautiful wife Sandra.
