Marzena Sowa

Marzena Sowa was born is Stalowa Wola, Poland. As a young girl she dreamt about living in France, free from communist rule, after hearing stories from her aunt who had moved there. Ms. Marzena attended university in Kraków, and continued her studies in Bordeaux, where she met Sylvain Savoia, her future partner in life and art, and whose encouragement to write about her childhood memories resulted in the unforgettable book that is Marzi.
