Caroline Moorehead

Acclaimed biographer Caroline Moorehead has also written for major U.K. publications, including the Telegraph, the Times, and the Independent. A human rights activist, she is the cofounder of a legal-advice center for asylum seekers from Africa. She is the author of Dancing to the Precipice, which was shortlisted for the Costa Book Award (formerly the Whitbread Award), and Human Cargo: A Journey Among Refugees, which was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award. She lives in London.
