Deborah Kennedy

Deborah E. Kennedy is a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana and a graduate of the Iowa Writers” Workshop. She has worked as a reporter, editor, teacher, baseball coach, waitress, cookie packer, and bank teller. Her stories and reported pieces have appeared in North American Review, Sou’wester, Salon, the Oregonian, The Establishment, and The Hairpin. She currently lives in Portland, Oregon with her mother and young son. Tornado Weather is her first novel.
