Sam Savage

Sam Savage is the author of the bestselling, critically acclaimed novels Firmin: Adventures of a Metropolitan Lowlife and The Cry of the Sloth. He was a finalist for the Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers Award, the PEN L. L. Winship Award, and the Society of Midland Authors Award. A native of South Carolina, Mr. Savage holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from Yale University. He resides in Madison, Wisconsin.
