Ruth Krauss

Ruth Krauss (1911–1993) is the author of more than 30 books for children. She is known for such classics as I'll Be You and You Be Me, Charlotte and the White Horse, and A Hole Is to Dig, all illustrated by Maurice Sendak, as well as The Carrot Seed, illustrated by her husband, Crockett Johnson.
Steven Kellogg has illustrated more than a hundred books, including Is Your Mama a Llama? by Deborah Guarino, If You Decide to Go to the Moon by Faith McNulty, How Much Is a Million? by David M. Schwartz, and The Day Jimmy's Boa Ate the Wash by Trinka Hakes Noble.
