Emily Ross

Emily Ross is the author of Half in Love with Death, a young adult novel inspired by a true crime from the 1960s. Half in Love with Death was named a finalist in the International Thriller Writers 2016 Thriller Awards.

Ms. Ross received a 2014 Massachusetts Cultural Council finalist award in fiction for Half in Love with Death and is an editor and contributor at Dead Darlings, a website dedicated to discussing the craft of novel writing.

Her short fiction and nonfiction have been published in Boston magazine, Yarn (Young Adult Review Network), and Menda City Review. She is a graduate of Grub Street’s Novel Incubator program and a member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, and International Thriller Writers.
