Let’s get one thing straight right here and right now, this is actually a day planner calendar that conveniently contains all the holidays and information that any good calendar needs. Its international twist leaves no limitations as far as audience.
If you are not familiar with Ms. de la Fressange, she was a wildly popular runway and print model in the 1980s who was catapulted to fame and fortune by Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel. She was the house and designer muse as well as the face of the brand until she displeased Mr. Lagerfeld and was tossed out.
In the meantime, she also managed to marry very well, and while at the peak of her career, she worked with just about every famous designer of that era.
That is some history and insight as to how and where these weekly doses of fashion originated. It does help that de la Fressange has remained wildly chic and continues in the business today as brand ambassador for Roger Vivier shoes. She has also mended fences with Mr. Lagerfeld.
The little morsels of fashion advice offered up every week are wonderfully witty as well as very instructional for the savvy as well as the fashion deficient. They are akin to the “Why Nots?” that began the illustrious career of the last Diana Vreeland.

All this being said, I neglected to mention the adorable drawings pertaining to the author/artist featured of Ms. de la Fresange that accompany every month.
