The emphasis of this book is that love has no boundaries.”

I Love You Too is a multicultural picture book based on one of Ziggy Marley’s songs of the same name. The emphasis of this book is that love has no boundaries. Mr. Marley expresses not only family love, but also the love of nature and animals.  The connection between the way an animal behaves and the way nature flows is natural. So is the love a parent has as soon as their child is born.

It is reassuring for children to hear how much they are loved. It is also reassuring to know that love is not conditional. Mr. Marley creates a story that children can relate to and bond with discovering that love can move mountains and will always exist no matter what.

Young children will enjoy the repetition of the text as well as the lively and colorful illustrations that illustrator Ag Jatkowska creates. Children ages one and up will enjoy this 48-page picture book as well as the song that embodies it.
