Teri Lesesne

Teri Lesesne (rhymes with insane) teaches courses in children's and YA literature for school librarians at Sam Houston State University. A former middle school teacher, Ms. Lesesne has been president of ALAN (Assembly on literature for adolescents of NCTE) and has served on numerous award and selection committees including QP, Printz, Odyssey, Morris, and YALSA Nonfiction. 

She is the author of three professional books, numerous chapters, and dozens of articles about books, reading, and engagement.

In her spare time, Ms. Lesesne travels with her husband and reads alongside her cat, Scout. You can find her on Twitter as @professornana and on Instagram, Facebook, and other social networking sites. She also does book talks on her Anchor station.
