Joan Tewkesbury

Ms. Tewkesbury has written for stage, television, and screen. Her writing includes Sadie and Simpsom, Elysian Fields, Acorn People, The Stranger, The Guardian, The Tenth Month, Dance Card, Jammed, and Nashville. She is the creative advisor for the Sundance Native Lab and Sundance Institute. Her work has been honored by the Writer’s Guild, The Golden Globes, The British Academy Awards, Los Angeles Critics and Academy Awards. Ms. Tewkesbury has two children and six grandchildren and lives in Northern New Mexico.
