Roger Ebert
Roger Ebert won the Pulitzer Prize for criticism in 1975. His film reviews are syndicated in newspapers around the world. He was co-host of “Siskel and Ebert” and “Ebert and Roeper” for 33 years, and is now managing editor and reviewer for “Ebert Presents at the Movies.” He is the author of 17 books, including Scorsese by Ebert and Awake in the Dark. Several surgeries and other procedures to arrest cancer left him in 2006 with the inability to eat, drink, or speak. He lives with his wife, Chaz Hammelsmith Ebert, in Chicago.
