Robin Spano is a crime writer and the author of Dead Politician Society. She lives in Steveston, British Columbia. Robin grew up in downtown Toronto. She studied physics briefly at university, and dropped out to explore North America on her motorcycle. She has worked and lived in several Canadian cities as a waitress, baker, bartender, and pool hall manager. She lives with her husband, Keith, in Vancouver.

She likes writing crime because she has fun with it. Ms. Spano has written one book and is working on the second in the series. She is excited to follow the adventures and learning curve of her character, Clare, as she moves through the world solving crime under various covers.
