Michael Caduto is co-author of the bestselling, award-winning books Keepers of the Earth, Keepers of the Animals, Keepers of Life, and Keepers of the Night—all of which take a holistic approach to nature inspired by biological diversity.
He has written numerous other books, including several picture/activity books for children, as well as more than 100 articles for magazines such as Cricket, Rodale’s Organic Gardening, Sanctuary, Instructor, Nature Study, Green Teacher, and Ranger Rick’s NatureScope. His feature articles have appeared in many newspapers, and his op-ed pieces have been carried over Reuters International News Service. Mr. Caduto is a pioneer of the use of storytelling and the arts for teaching environmental ethics. He lives in Reading, Vermont.
