Karen Heuler is the author of two previous novels including journey The Soft Room and The Other Door. Her stories have appeared in over 60 literary and speculative magazines and anthologies from Alaska Quarterly Review to Weird Tales. She also published a short story collection. She was voted Year’s best in Science Fiction and Fantasy in 2009 and has received myriad other awards for writing. She lives in NYC with her dog, Booker Prize, and her cat, Pulitzer.
